Sales Manager

SUMMARY:
A leading international wellness and lifestyle technology organisation is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and grow its Southern African sales operation.

This role is ideally suited to a sales leader from a wellness, fitness, sports, lifestyle, or health-focused environment who understands premium consumer products, brand-led sales strategies, and partner-driven distribution models.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and manage a regional Sales Team to achieve revenue and growth targets
• Drive sales strategy aligned to wellness, fitness, and lifestyle-focused consumer markets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retail partners, gyms, wellness groups, and key accounts
• Identify new market opportunities, channels, and partnerships within the wellness and fitness ecosystem
• Collaborate with product and category teams to align go-to-market strategies and product positioning
• Provide accurate sales forecasts, reporting, and performance insights to senior management
• Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and statutory requirements

• 5–7 years’ experience in a Sales Management role
• Background in wellness, fitness, sports, lifestyle, health, or consumer-focused brands
• Proven experience managing distributors, partners, or retail channels
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
• Commercially astute with strong strategic thinking ability
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to inspire high performance
• Willingness to travel regionally
• Computer literate (MS Office; CRM experience advantageous)
