Sales Manager

Our client in the Hardware/Wholesale industry, based in Port Elizabeth, is currently looking to employ an experienced Sales Manager.

Requirements:

• 8 - 10 Years successful previous experience as a sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
• Previous Industry knowledge in Paint and Hardware is advantageous.
• Relevant Sale & Marketing qualification.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
• Strong business acumen and industry expertise.
• Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skill.

Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:

• Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence in the Decorative market.
• Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
• Objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
• Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
• Present sales and expenses report and realistic forecasts to the management team.
• Identify emerging markets and market shifts.
• Remain abreast of all new products and competition status.
