JOB SUMMARY:
One of the leading maintenances, selling & hiring of generator equipment’s is currently looking to hire Sales Manager to be based in the Durban Branch with the following experience required:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Main Purpose:

To build and maintain high-performance sales in the organization by achieving objectives.

Responsibilities:

Achieve and reach sales targets
Managing the sales team
Design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence – crafting sales plans and justify those plans to the upper management
Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and
understanding their needs
Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to management
Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and
competition status
Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
Explore new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long term partnerships
Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas
Provide professional after-sales support to enhance the customers’ dedication
Remain in frequent contact with clients in your responsibility to understand their needs
Respond to complaints and resolve issues aiming to customer contentment and the preservation of the company’s reputation
Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data
Daily reporting and management of the Repsly system
Train and assist sales personnel to maximize their sales.
Grow and support the sales staff
Ensure compliance to company procedures
Keep the company competitive and innovative
Apply Health and Safety Standards and Regulations.

Educational, Training & Experience Required:

Matric/ Grade 12.
Tertiary qualification will be advantageous.
Minimum 5years experience in similar role.
Industry and product knowledge (sales and rentals)
Complete knowledge of our industry and needs analysis.

Excellent technical knowledge of the following:

Welding Processes and Consumables
Gas and Plasma Cutting Processes
Plasma Automation Processes
Generators
Power tools
