Hospitality Hire is recruiting for a Sales Manager on behalf of a leading hospitality group. This role is suited to a commercially driven professional who understands how to build relationships, drive revenue and position a property effectively within the market.
You will play a key role in developing and executing the sales strategy, identifying new business opportunities and strengthening existing client relationships. This position requires a proactive approach, strong industry knowledge and the ability to convert opportunities into measurable results.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements

- Relevant qualification in Sales, Marketing or Hospitality Management

- Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in a sales role within the hospitality industry

- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of the travel trade, corporate and group segments
- Experience working with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline effectively
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel as required

Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Business Development

- Develop and implement a proactive sales strategy aligned with business goals
- Identify new market opportunities and build a strong client base
- Drive revenue across corporate, leisure, group and MICE segments
- Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings and presentations

Client Relationship Management

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, agents and partners
- Manage existing accounts while actively sourcing new business
- Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows and networking opportunities

Revenue and Performance Management

- Work closely with revenue and reservations teams to maximise occupancy and rates
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform sales strategies
- Track performance against targets and provide regular reporting

Collaboration and Internal Alignment

- Liaise with operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of client expectations
- Work closely with marketing to align campaigns and sales initiatives
- Ensure clear communication between departments for group and event business

Administration and Reporting

- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts and pipeline updates
- Ensure all contracts and agreements are managed efficiently
