âï¸ Take the Lead in Control Valve Sales Across Africa – Influence, Innovate & Deliver.

POSITION INFO:
An international leader in industrial automation is looking for a Sales Manager to drive growth across Africa. This hybrid role blends technical know-how with business development and strategic leadership. You’ll focus on growing the flow controls and instrumentation portfolio—including digital valve controllers and connected services—while leading key customer engagements, channel partner development, and high-value project pursuits.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Mechatronic, or similar)
10–12 years technical sales or channel sales experience in the valve/process control industry
10+ years hands-on experience with control valve sizing and selection
3–5 years of project pursuit or EPC involvement
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally and cross-border
Must be based in South Africa with the ability to work in a hybrid model

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Strong understanding of smart/digital valve controllers and connected technologies
Proven ability to grow market share and exceed targets
Experience with severe service applications and engineered valve solutions
Solid understanding of key industries: Mining, power, hydrocarbons, and chemicals
Ability to lead and support channel partners across multiple regions
Commercially savvy with a strong technical foundation
Familiar with KOB1–KOB3 frameworks and installed base upgrade strategies
Excellent communication and presentation skills
