SUMMARY:
A supplier of IVD products requires the above to manage and grow relationships with existing and prospective customers and promote products and services to achieve sales targets and market growth.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements for the role: A BSc Degree or National Diploma in Medical Technology, Biomedical Science, Life Sciences, or a related field is preferred. Previous commercial sales experience, having worked within the in-vitro diagnostic environment, is preferred. The successful candidate must have strong customer service and relationship management skills. Good understanding of scientific terminology and laboratory environments. Must be computer literate and have experience using CRM systems. Previous experience dealing with laboratories, hospitals, pathology groups and key healthcare stakeholders. Knowledge of LIS\/IT systems. Product knowledge of diagnostic instruments, reagents, or laboratory workflows. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Managing and growing relationships with existing and prospective customers. Promoting the company products and services to achieve sales targets and market growth. Identifying new business opportunities and supporting sales strategies in the assigned territory. Providing product information, demonstrations, and basic customer support where required. Working closely with Applications, Technical Service, Logistics, Marketing, Business Development, and Finance teams to ensure excellent customer service. Maintaining accurate customer records, activity reports, forecasts, and CRM updates. Monitoring customer needs, competitor activity, pricing, backorders, and market trends. Assisting with tenders, proposals, contract renewals, and customer-specific pricing. Representing the company at customer visits, meetings, congresses, and industry events. Ensuring all activities comply with company quality, regulatory, health, safety, and business requirements. Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
