We are looking for a technically strong and commercially driven Sales & Field Application Engineer to join our growing Gauteng team.

POSITION INFO:

ð POSITION OVERVIEW

This role combines technical engineering support with sales responsibility, enabling you to guide customers from concept through to implementation. You will play a key role in driving revenue, supporting design decisions, and delivering tailored electronic solutions.

ð¼ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

â Drive sales growth by identifying new opportunities and expanding existing accounts
â Provide technical support on product selection, integration, and system-level design
â Collaborate with global suppliers and internal teams to deliver tailored solutions
â Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and technical training
â Prepare accurate quotes and proposals for customer inquiries and tenders
â Maintain CRM systems, sales reports, and opportunity pipelines
â Attend supplier workshops, industry events, and client visits (field-based role)

ð MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

â National Diploma/Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering
â 3–5+ years’ experience in technical sales, FAE, or component distribution
â Strong understanding of electronic components (analog, digital, power, sensors, MCUs)
â Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
â Self-driven, organized, and customer-focused
â Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
â Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
