Signa Opportunity is recruiting unemployed youth for quality workplace experience through the Youth Employment Service (YES) initiative.

About the YES Initiative:
The initiative was launched by the President in 2018 and is a partnership with the government and labour department to collectively devise a national plan to build economic pathways for South Africa’s youth by creating workplace opportunities for South African youth over a period of 12 months.

Stipend: R8000

Location: KZN (Umkhomazi Drive)

POSITION INFO:
About the role The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the company's business development activities, maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and promoting Company's services within the environmental and industrial sectors. Responsibilities: Manage and maintain company's social media platforms, including creating and coordinating relevant content. Identify and monitor new tender and business opportunities. Prepare and coordinate tender submissions and ensure all required documentation is submitted accurately and on time. Prepare quotations and proposals for existing and potential clients. Identify and approach potential new clients and business opportunities. Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients. Arrange and attend meetings with new, existing and potential clients. Represent company at industry events, conferences, exhibitions and networking events. Promote company's services and identify opportunities to expand the company's client base. Follow up on quotations, tenders and potential business opportunities. Maintain accurate records of leads, client interactions, quotations and tender opportunities. Assist with general sales and marketing activities as required. Preparation of quotations Minimum Requirements South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34. Must not have participated on the YES programme before. Matric. Relevant qualification in BSc, Marketing, Business Management, will be advantageous. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational and administrative skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. Ability to communicate confidently with clients and represent the company professionally. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks. A valid driver's licence will be advantageous.
