SUMMARY:
Role Overview:
This role supports governance committees and their subcommittees to ensure they meet legal and corporate governance requirements, including compliance with the Public Audit Act and King IV principles. It also provides guidance on governance structures and ensures the organisation follows all relevant regulations.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Support governance in IT projects within the organisation
Help develop and track the unit’s performance scorecard
Review and update the delegation of authority framework
Assist in preparing organisational reports (quarterly and annual)
Review remuneration for external committee members

In short, the role focuses on ensuring strong governance, compliance, and effective reporting across the organisation

Requirements

Law Degree or related Corporate Governance qualification.
4-5 years’ experience in a Governance and Secretariat environment at manager level.
Registered with the Charted Institute of Governance of Southern Africa or written and pass the Governance Board exam
