JOB SUMMARY:
Senior AP Controller. Maintain AP process through constant evaluation & efficiency management

JOB DESCRIPTION:

One of the most recognisable brands in the world is looking for a Senior AP Controller to join their team. You will be responsible for maintaining the Accounts Payable process through constant evaluation and efficiency management. With a strong focus on improvement, you will be a key operator driving various automation projects.

Responsibilities:

Ensure vendors are paid in a timely manner and maintain payment terms
clearing and forwarding invoice handling and review of clearing accruals
Ensure cash flow is monitored and regular payments are made to head office
Reconciliation of all trade creditor balances within the general ledger and statements
Monthly review with Chief Accountant - key account reconciliation's, KPI's
Management of year end close process (creditors).
Compliance
System management

Requirements:

B.Com Accounting or equivalent
Minimum 3 years AP experience in commercial environment, within FMCG would be ideal
SAP experience
Project management exposure would be an advantage
