POSITION INFO:
ð Now Hiring: Senior Accountant – Manufacturing Sector
ð Location: Johannesburg
ð° Salary: R 500 000 – R 540 000 per annum (CTC)

What You’ll Be Doing:

Oversee the full financial accounting function, including general ledger, month-end processes, and financial reporting
Prepare and analyse management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
Manage reconciliations, journal entries, and fixed asset registers
Monitor internal controls and assist with audit preparation
Ensure accurate VAT, tax, and statutory submissions
Support the Financial Manager with cost analysis and financial planning
Collaborate with operations and production teams to align financial strategy with business goals

What You Need to Succeed:

BCom in Accounting or similar (BCom Honours advantageous)
Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector
Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., Sage, Syspro, or SAP)
Strong Excel skills and a keen eye for detail
Excellent understanding of IFRS, tax, and financial compliance
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment
