POSITION INFO:

Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their professional and collaborative finance team. The organisation operates within a values-based environment and is known for its commitment to integrity, accountability, and making a positive impact through the work they do. With a supportive culture and a focus on continuous improvement, they are looking for someone who can bring structure, accuracy, and leadership to the finance function. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing key financial processes, ensuring accurate reporting, maintaining compliance, and supporting management with timely financial insights. This role suits someone who is detail-driven, organised, and comfortable taking ownership of the accounting function.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full accounting function
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Maintain compliance with applicable financial standards and internal controls
Support the annual audit process and liaise with auditors
Manage cash flow and monitor expenses

Job Experience and Skills Required:
BCom degree in a related field
6+ years within a similar role
NPO experience beneficial
