SUMMARY:
A well-established and reputable organisation is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis, strategic insights, and accounting support to assist the senior leadership team in making informed business decisions. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Accounting Manager as well as oversee a team of accountants and provide guidance and training to upskill them and ensure succession planning. POSITION INFO:
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts Performing variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting Providing support to the various business units, cost centres and assisting to resolve queries Supporting audits and ensure IFRS compliance Tracking and analyzing inventory costs, including stock valuations and goods in transit Assisting in the development and maintenance of robust financial controls and procedures Collaborating with IT and other departments to successfully identify and implement areas of automation and enhancements to systems and processes Skills & Experience: 5+ years' commercial experience Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, financial modelling) Exposure to accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage, Xero) - non-negotiable Excellent analytical and forecasting skills Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Qualification: B.Com Accounting (or similar) For more information connect with us on and Register your CV to create a profile and to view all our Financial recruitment vacancies.
