SUMMARY:
An established and growing business within the manufacturing and mining sector is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering accurate financial reporting while partnering with the business to drive performance.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements: BCom Accounting (essential) Articles highly advantageous Proven management experience Manufacturing experience is non-negotiable Mining industry experience is essential Strong financial reporting and accounting expertise Advanced Excel skills Your Responsibilities: Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring high performance and continuous development Oversee the full accounting function and month-end reporting process Prepare accurate management accounts and financial statements Manage balance sheet reconciliations and ensure compliance with accounting standards Drive budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management Analyse financial results and provide strategic insights to management Strengthen financial controls, improve processes and ensure compliance Partner with operational teams to support business growth and profitability We're Looking For Someone Who: Is a confident leader with excellent people management skills Has strong analytical and commercial acumen Thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing and mining environment Has exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving ability Can communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the business
