SUMMARY:
Are you a detail-driven finance professional who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment? We're looking for a Senior Accountant who’s ready to step into a key operational role within a leading player in the heavy machinery and construction sector.

POSITION INFO:
ð° R 600 000.00/R 680 000.00 per annum (Negotiable)

ð§ Why This Role?:
This is not your average accounting job. You’ll be embedded in operations, working closely with site teams and management to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and performance. If you enjoy rolling up your sleeves and making a real impact, then this is your chance.

ð§ Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting functions across multiple sites
Assist with CAPEX tracking, budgeting, and reporting
Prepare and review VAT, tax, and Forex transactions
Collaborate with operational teams to support financial decision-making
Maintain and improve internal controls and reporting accuracy

ð Qualifications & Experience:

Education: BCom Accounting (Honours advantageous)
Experience: 3–5 years in a similar role, preferably in construction, engineering, or industrial sectors
Skills:
- Strong VAT and tax knowledge
- Exposure to Forex and CAPEX
- Advanced Excel and ERP systems
- Proactive communicator with a hands-on approach

Hybrid work model
Occasional travel to operational sites
