As the Senior Actuarial Manager, you will play a key leadership role in guiding actuarial strategy, enhancing pricing and risk management frameworks, and partnering with executive stakeholders to drive business performance. POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Lead and oversee actuarial analysis, modelling, valuation, and reporting activities. Provide strategic actuarial insights to support business planning and executive decision-making. Drive the development, enhancement, and validation of actuarial models and methodologies. Partner with business, finance, risk, product, and executive stakeholders to identify opportunities and manage risk. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory, governance, and professional actuarial standards. Monitor portfolio performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability and business outcomes. Lead, mentor, and develop actuarial professionals within the team. Contribute to the design and implementation of innovative actuarial and business solutions. Job Experience and Skills Required: Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline. Qualified Actuary (FASSA or equivalent international qualification preferred). Minimum 10 years' actuarial experience within the financial services and\/or insurance industry. Proven actuarial leadership experience with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams. Strong knowledge of pricing, valuation, capital modelling, risk management, and regulatory frameworks. Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical business solutions and executive-level insights. Strong proficiency in actuarial modelling tools and Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrated career stability, reflecting sustained tenure, progression, and meaningful contributions within previous organisations.
