Senior Application Developer

SUMMARY:
We require a Senior Application Developer to work for a contract role in Cape Town.

POSITION INFO:

The role of the Senior Application Developer encompasses many activities including (but not limited to):

-- Designing Oracle/Oracle CRM solutions from business specifications.

-- Constructing and implementing application solutions. 

-- Constructing/developing programs, including coding, testing and debugging using modern development tools/cloud services and logic apps. 

-- Ensuring documentation of code/classes. 

-- Designing application prototypes. 

-- Indicating program unit structure. 

-- Coordinating application plans with the development team or client. 

-- Adhering to WCG System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Application Life Cycle Management (ALM) methodologies and processes.

-- Guiding and assisting other developers.

-- Maturing the application development processes and code quality.

Minimum Requirements: 

-- One or more tertiary qualification(s) issued by a registered tertiary institution that is/are relevant to the role of the Senior Application Developer; OR

-- One or more industry accredited Oracle course credential(s) that is/are relevant to the role of  the Senior Application  Developer. 

-- A minimum of 5 (five) years'' experience in a Senior Application Developer or equivalent role working or consulting on tasks or projects requiring Oracle development solutions, provided that such experience shall include but not be limited to experiences involving at least one of the following:

1) Oracle CRM Development and solutioning;

2) Oracle Service Cloud Implementation;

3) Oracle Policy Automation;

4) Oracle Integration Cloud;

5) Oracle Marketing Cloud Eloqua;

6) Oracle Field Service Cloud; or

7) Oracle Mobile hub/ Visual Builder Cloud Service

-- Equipped with one or more of the following technical skills:

1) PHP, Python, HTML, JavaScript and SQL;

2) Enterprise Data Warehousing;

3) ETL;

4) PL/SQL or T-SQL scripting; or

5) IT/Business Process Engineering
