Senior B-BBEE Transformation Specialist

Hybrid / R60 000 - R85 000 per month

Seeking a candidate from either Cape Town or Johannesburg

We are a specialist transformation advisory firm delivering high-impact B-BBEE, Transformation and DEI solutions to JSE-listed, unlisted, and non-profit organisations across Sub-Saharan Africa.

We are seeking a commercially astute, technically authoritative Senior Transformation Specialist to drive complex client mandates, shape executive-level strategy, and contribute meaningfully to our firm’s growth and intellectual leadership.

1. The Role

This is a senior, client-facing advisory position operating at Board and EXCO level with our respective clients.

You will lead complex transformation mandates, shape ownership strategies, interpret policy developments with our clients, and contribute meaningfully to the firm’s intellectual capital and commercial growth.

The role spans across:

• Strategic Transformation Advisory

Enterprise-wide diagnostics

Multi-year transformation roadmaps

Board-level advisory on risk and optimisation

Integration across Ownership, Management Control, Skills Development, Procurement, Enterprise and Supplier Development and SED pillars

• Ownership Structuring and Technical Authority

Evaluation and modelling of ownership transactions

Hybrid and debt instrument impact assessment

Advanced scorecard interpretation and optimisation

Technical opinion drafting and regulatory engagement

• Commercial and Market Contribution

Portfolio leadership and client growth

Proposal development for complex mandates

Strategic opportunity identification within client portfolios

Contribution to market positioning and thought leadership

2. The ideal candidate:

We are seeking a transformation professional with:

8–12+ years progressive experience in transformation advisory

Demonstrated exposure to ownership transaction structuring

Experience advising listed or large enterprise clients

Advanced knowledge of B-BBEE Codes and Sector Codes

Strong financial and analytical modelling capability

Executive presence and strategic thinking ability

A relevant degree required. in Accounting, Finance, Law, Economics, Development Studies, MDP, or related field.

Advantageous Postgraduate qualification and/or professional designation (CA(SA), MBA, CFA, LLB) or CA(SA), CFA or equivalent professional credential.
