The senior brand manager will need to develop strategies to ensure categories and brands remain relevant and profitable.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Insights and Strategic Development:

Objectively assess the available data to develop plans that support the long-term strategic direction for the business
Analyze data and insights to determine industry and consumer trends. Use insights to develop brand strategies on core categories to ensure brands remain relevant and profitable.
Collaborate with Sales & Analytics / Insights teams to drive effective marketing and promotional activity

Brand & Category management:

Develop the annual category and brand plans
Manage the brand budget – align spend to support business strategy
Manage all aspects of brand communication to ensure effective targeting and ROI
Monitor brand P&L’s

People management & leadership - Build strong cross-functional, agency and external partnerships to deliver compelling and integrated consumer communication

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

3-year Diploma or Degree. Post graduate marketing qualification preferable
6+ years category / brand management experience within a branded FMCG company
Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods
Proficient in MS Office
