- Relevant Degree / Diploma
Skills and experience:
- Minimum 5 years'' experience as business / systems analyst building large scale data warehouses
- Minimum 5 years'' experience as business / systems analyst building reports and dashboards
- Excellent SQL query writing experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Solid experience in writing functional and technical specifications

Key Accountabilities:

- Understand atÂ aÂ detailedÂ levelÂ howÂ certainÂ businessÂ processesÂ workÂ Â
- Identify, analyse and document business requirements.
- Analyse sourceÂ systemsÂ andÂ understandÂ howÂ informationÂ isÂ storedÂ andÂ relatedÂ basedÂ on the businessÂ processesÂ Â
- Produce sourceÂ toÂ targetÂ mappingÂ documentationÂ
- Specify/document transformationÂ rulesÂ
- Undertake detailedÂ dataÂ profilingÂ
- Document dataÂ qualityÂ issuesÂ andÂ workÂ withÂ stakeholdersÂ toÂ formulateÂ resolution strategies
- Propose/assist inÂ solutionsÂ andÂ createÂ logicalÂ dataÂ modelsÂ forÂ BIÂ sourceÂ implementationsÂ
- Create aÂ mock-upÂ dashboard/reportÂ specificationÂ
- Write dashboard/reportÂ specificationsÂ onceÂ mock-upÂ hasÂ beenÂ agreedÂ
- Play anÂ activeÂ supportingÂ roleÂ duringÂ theÂ developmentÂ ofÂ theÂ warehouseÂ
- Play anÂ activeÂ supportingÂ roleÂ duringÂ theÂ developmentÂ ofÂ theÂ report dashboard
- Assist theÂ QualityÂ AssuranceÂ teamÂ toÂ produceÂ testÂ plans,Â testÂ casesÂ andÂ testÂ scripts andÂ writeÂ testÂ specifications (whenÂ necessary)Â toÂ ensureÂ qualityÂ ofÂ theÂ solutionÂ
