Senior Marketing & Business Development Specialist

SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for an experienced, creative and commercially driven Senior Marketing & Business Development Specialist to join their growing marketing team.
This is a hands-on senior-level role suited to someone who can manage the marketing requirements of multiple clients across different industries while also contributing to the growth and development of the business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies, managing campaigns, overseeing content and digital marketing activities, building strong client relationships and providing guidance to junior members of the marketing team.
This role requires someone who understands that effective marketing goes beyond social media posts. The focus is on building brands, generating leads, attracting new business and delivering measurable results.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement tailored marketing strategies for multiple clients. Manage client marketing campaigns from initial planning through to execution and reporting. Develop monthly content strategies and marketing calendars. Manage and oversee social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. Assist with Google Ads, SEO, email marketing, website management and other digital marketing activities. Develop creative marketing concepts, campaigns and promotional initiatives. Coordinate graphic design, photography, video and other creative requirements. Review and quality-check marketing content before it is presented to clients. Monitor campaign performance, analyse results and recommend improvements. Prepare marketing reports and present campaign results and strategies to clients. Build and maintain strong, professional client relationships. Attend client meetings and develop a strong understanding of each client's business, target market and objectives. Identify additional marketing opportunities and services for existing clients. Provide guidance, support and direction to junior marketing team members. Assist with workload management, deadlines and quality control within the team. Identify potential new clients and business development opportunities. Assist with proposals, presentations and marketing packages. Conduct business development activities and follow up with prospective clients. Stay up to date with emerging marketing trends, platforms, technologies and opportunities. Minimum Requirements Minimum 3 years' experience in marketing, digital marketing, an advertising agency or a similar environment. Minimum Diploma in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business Management or a related field. Equivalent relevant qualifications and substantial industry experience may be considered. Experience managing multiple clients, brands or marketing projects. Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media. Proven experience developing and managing marketing campaigns. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong client relationship management and presentation skills. Good understanding of branding and content marketing. Experience in lead generation or business development will be advantageous. Experience guiding, supervising or mentoring junior marketing staff will be advantageous.
