SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity for a commercially driven Senior Business Developer to identify, develop, and close renewable energy opportunities within the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) sector.

You will manage the full deal lifecycle, from origination through to financial close, while building strong client relationships and driving business growth.

POSITION INFO:

Job Description:

Originate and secure new renewable energy opportunities
Manage opportunities from initial engagement to financial close
Lead client negotiations and commercial discussions
Structure and position funded PPA solutions
Collaborate with technical, financial, and legal teams to deliver successful projects
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3–5 years' business development or sales experience with a proven deal-closing track record
Strong network within the South African C&I market
Experience managing complex sales cycles
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities
Renewable energy, PPA, EPC, solar PV, or battery storage experience advantageous

Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
