Senior Civil Engineer

SUMMARY:
We are interested in connecting with experienced Civil Engineers who have played a key role in the planning, design, and successful delivery of infrastructure projects across both public and private sector environments.
Our particular interest lies in professionals with demonstrated experience in municipal services, transportation infrastructure, bulk earthworks, and land development projects, with the ability to contribute across multiple stages of the project lifecycle.

POSITION INFO:

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in the planning, geometric design, and delivery of roads and transportation infrastructure projects, including urban and rural road networks, intersections, and associated civil works.
• Strong understanding of stormwater management systems and sewer reticulation design, with the ability to develop practical and compliant engineering solutions for municipal and land development projects.
• Experience in the design, coordination, and supervision of bulk earthworks projects, including site grading, cut-and-fill assessments, and construction support.
• Demonstrated involvement in water and sanitation infrastructure projects, including bulk services, reticulation networks, and associated municipal engineering works.
• Sound knowledge of contract administration and project management principles, with experience overseeing project delivery, managing stakeholders, monitoring budgets, and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D for civil engineering design, modelling, and documentation across a variety of infrastructure projects.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD for the preparation and review of technical drawings, layouts, and construction documentation.
• Experience using Model Maker or similar civil engineering design and modelling platforms to support project planning, analysis, and design development.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BEng or BSc Civil Engineering).
• Professional registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) will be advantageous.
• A minimum of five years' relevant civil engineering experience gained within consulting engineering, infrastructure development, municipal services, or related project environments.
