JOB DESCRIPTION:

We have a vacancy for a dynamic Attorney who specialize predominantly in corporate and commercial law matters.

Requirements:

8-10 years post article experience specializing in Corporate and Commercial Law
Must be a specialist in the field of Corporate and Commercial Law (Non-Negotiable)
LLB and B. Com (finance) degrees
LLM in corporate and commercial law will be advantageous
Strong contract drafting skills
Sound knowledge and understanding of corporate and commercial transactions (incl. M&A’s, Corporate Finance, Private Equity, Deal Structuring, Transactional Tax, etc.).
Fluent in English (both verbal and written). Fluency in Afrikaans will be advantageous.
Fully computer literate (incl. MS Word, Excel, etc.).

Responsibilities:

Providing legal services regarding a variety of corporate and commercial law matters, including:

Mergers And Acquisitions
Private Equity
Corporate Structuring And Restructuring
General Commercial Agreements
Franchising
Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment
Company Secretarial
