Position Overview

An exciting opportunity has become available within the company for an experienced and reliable Senior Commercial Manager. They will be responsible for driving commercial growth and customer excellence. The role focuses on key account management, customer retention, new business development, revenue growth, RFQ/tender participation, market expansion, and building strong customer partnerships. The position oversees commercial performance through data analysis, forecasting, KPI management, pricing and billing structures, and continuous improvement initiatives. Requiring ISO 9001-2015 knowledge.

Main Duties and Responsibilities -Customer Retention -New Business development -RFQ participation -Data analysis -CI initiatives -New Market \/ industry development -Market penetration methodologies and structures -Account Management -Key performance Indicators -Volumes Forecasting and trend analysis -Unit rate billing -Revenue Generation - key accounts -Customer service -Manage queries and concerns -Satisfaction Surveys -Customer Interactive session -Participation in Trade shows -Transporter recruitment and management: Control Tower -Adhoc tasks as required -ISO 9001-2015 knowledge & commitment Competencies -Problem Solving and Thinking laterally as part of a team, to meet the needs of the company -Excellent all-round communication skills essential -Dynamic, innovative and structured individual -Professional, hardworking, fast learning individual -Must be able to work under pressure -Well versed in various systems - advanced -Commercial Marketing knowledge and experience essential -Valid driver's license & Own transport essential Qualifications -Matric\/Grade 12 -At least 5 years related work experience at Management level essential -At least 8-10 years related work experience within DG \/ Fuel \/ Liquid bulk \/ Chemical related operations from a commercial management perspective -Degree in SCM \/ Marketing \/ Business Management essential.
