Position Overview:

A leading Supply Chain and Logistics concern has a fantastic opportunity available for a skilled Senior Consultant in the Supply Chain Advisory Department.

One will provide expertise, advice, support, report on, sell and lead complex supply chain and logistics consulting projects that improve organisational value chain integration and performance.

The Senior Consultant is experienced in creating strategic solutions and managing multiple and complex delivery projects. Manage and balance the requirements between business objectives and project requirements. Recognise trends, patterns or themes in complex data, and leverages experience to solve complex problems. Understands the importance of project governance and project financial management and manages teams.

Key Performance Areas:

• Design and optimise business practices in the context of a value chain function''s strategy and operating model, legislation, standards, industry trends and other business intelligence.
• Prospect and qualify sales leads.
• Design the test approach, methodology and success criteria for business improvement solutions.
• Compile business-requirement and system-design specifications for solutions aimed at the improvement of business practices.
• Control quality of a business analysis or consulting team''s outputs.
• Project team performance management.
• Project financial performance.

Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required:

• A minimum of 7 Years’ working experience in both an operational and consulting role
• A relevant completed B. Eng Industrial or BCom Logistics (Honours) or BCom Supply Chain Management (Honours) degree
• Distribution experience is essential
• Network design experience is required
• Supply Chain and Logistics industry experience
• Advanced understanding of Financial and Management accounting
• Computer literacy – MS Office, Word, Excel, Power Point (intermediate level)
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power BI and Sequel is essential
• Project management experience
