SUMMARY:
A pioneering pan-African conservation and safari collection, home to more than 60 luxury camps across eight countries, is seeking an exceptional CONSUMER STORYTELLER AND COPYWRITER to help shape how the brand speaks to the world.

POSITION INFO:
This role suits a writer with strong editorial instincts who is equally at home finding a story as writing one; someone who can turn real people, places and conservation work into beautifully crafted content across the full consumer journey. This is not a production role; it calls for someone who researches, interviews and shapes narrative rather than simply executing a brief. Core Criteria: 5 to 8+ years' professional experience in copywriting, content, editorial or journalism Proven track record writing for consumer-facing brands Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or a related field Experience across multiple channels, including digital, social, web, email\/CRM and campaign communications Exceptional instinct for language, narrative and storytelling detail Naturally curious, with sharp observational and interviewing skills Strong audience and commercial thinking, balanced with creative and editorial judgement Clear, precise and adaptable across formats and platforms Comfortable collaborating widely, but equally capable of working independently Core Responsibilities: Write clear, distinctive copy across brand, campaign, web, social, CRM, email and editorial channels Research destinations, wildlife, communities and conservation work to find and shape original stories Conduct interviews with guides, camp teams and conservationists; spend time in the field to source authentic content Act as guardian of brand voice, tone and language; edit and refine copy produced by others Translate strategic briefs into messaging hierarchies, creative hooks and calls to action Work with CRM, social and performance teams to test and refine content using audience insight Collaborate across marketing, creative, product, regional and operational teams Contribute to editorial guidelines and messaging frameworks
