Purpose of the Role: Lead end-to-end contract lifecycle management for mining construction projects while supporting capital sourcing strategies. Ensure regulatory compliance (Mining Charter, BBBEE), cost optimization, and supplier performance in a high-stakes procurement environment.

Employment Type: Limited duration contract, ending 31 Mar 2026

Requirements:

BCom with a commercial or legal background (Essential)
3–5 years experience in contract management, procurement, or supply chain on mining construction project's
Proven experience in contractual claims management and construction-based procurement
Familiarity with MS Office, databases, and contract management systems
Ability to interpret and negotiate complex contracts and SLAs

Key Responsibilities

Full contract lifecycle management: drafting, negotiation, monitoring, renewal, and termination
Compile and issue RFQs, adjudicate tenders, and support procurement processes
Ensure compliance with SLPs, BBBEE, Mining Charter, and internal governance
Liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers to manage contractual obligations and disputes
Drive cost-savings initiatives and supplier development programs
Administer reporting on contract KPIs and performance metrics
Contribute to functional and process excellence initiatives
Participate in capital project planning and sourcing strategies
