SUMMARY:
Our prestigious client in Sandton, has an opportunity available for a Senior Corporate Treasury Specialist. This is a temporary assignment for 12 months.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

BCOM degree or equivalent with Accounting
A minimum of 4 years’ relevant work experience
A sound knowledge and ability to extract SAP reports
Proficient in Excel and Word
Experience in dealing in foreign exchange will be an advantage
Strong administrative experience
Ability to liaise and engage with both internal and external clients
Good report writing skills

KPAs:

Executing spot and forward exchange-cover transactions in the foreign exchange market
Capturing manual deal tickets onto the computer systems once system is available
Preparation of relevant interest rate schedules
Handling of queries which may result from dealing transactions
Matching of maturities of investments with future known envisaged financing commitments (i.e.
loan repayments, requested big drawdown sect.)
Formulation of investment strategy within the parameters of the Board approved investment norms
Cashflow planning, manage cashflow and liquidity through planning within departments constraints
Expanded analysis of SAP raw data
Weekly reporting on disbursements versus committed SAP forecasts
Compile comprehensive dealer treasury system operational file
