Step into a high-impact institution that finances transformative projects across South Africa and beyond. As a Senior Credit Portfolio Analyst, you’ll be the backbone of portfolio health — balancing risk, reward, and development outcomes across multiple sectors.

You’ll partner with credit, origination, and legal teams to monitor investments, conduct deep-dive analyses, and build insights that protect the Bank’s capital while enabling growth. POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed credit reviews, annual assessments, and financial analyses across sovereign, public, and infrastructure portfolios.
Monitor risk triggers, covenants, and loan conditions to identify and mitigate early credit concerns.
Build and challenge financial models, perform stress testing, and provide actionable recommendations.
Support credit restructuring and amendments while ensuring compliance with policy and governance.
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver portfolio performance insights and maintain robust reporting standards.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (Postgraduate preferred).
Minimum 8 years’ experience in credit analysis, portfolio monitoring, or financial analysis within investment or development finance.
Strong financial modelling, credit assessment, and risk management expertise.
Solid understanding of the credit lifecycle, portfolio management, and risk rating methodologies.
Excellent communication and analytical writing skills — able to turn data into direction.
