One of the largest Retail companies is looking for a Senior Creditors Clerk to join their dynamic finance team. As the Senior Creditors Clerk you will process invoices received for payment and undertaking the payment of all creditors.

As the Senior Creditors Clerk you will responsible for the following:

Ensure all statements are received as per creditors age analysis
Ensure suppliers are paid within the credit terms
Processing of invoices and reconciliation of accounts
Reconciliation of cash and IBT (inter branch stock transfer) accounts
Reconciliation of accounts and follow up on short banking
Prepare payments for electronic funds transfer
Ensure relevant payments are allocated correctly
Liaising with suppliers regarding any outstanding invoices, claims etc.
Maintenance of accounts payable age analysis
Processing journals
Reconciliation of trade creditors to age analysis
Resolve debit balances and variances on age analysis
Ensuring all creditors recons are completed prior to payment due date
Ensuring all payables documents are captured and balanced
Ensure filing is done promptly and in a systematic order
Ensure all month end charges like are allocated correctly and timeously

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Completed Matric
Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar position
Retail is preferred
Advanced Excel skills
