SUMMARY:
Our client, a major player in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Senior Desktop Support Specialist to lead their IT support operations and ensure seamless technology experiences for their team.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements

Matric coupled with relevant tertiary qualifications or certifications
A minimum of 4 years' experience in desktop support with at least 2 years in a senior role.
Solid understanding of Active Directory, Office 365 and networking fundamentals
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to handle escalations
Ability to work in a high pressure fast paced environment
Must be able to commence employment immediately

Duties

Advanced desktop, laptop and peripheral support
Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software and networks issues
Lead key projects like system upgrades, software migrations etc.
Mentor junior support staff and manage escalations to ensure fast, effective solutions
Work closely with the IT teams to enhance overall infrastructure and user satisfaction
Keep our client's system secure and compliant with the latest patches, updates and configurations
