SUMMARY:

Are you a seasoned ETL Developer and Database Administrator looking for an opportunity to drive enterprise data solutions? Our client is seeking a highly skilled data professional to take ownership of critical data integration processes and BI database environments.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, maintain, and optimise scalable ETL processes to support enterprise reporting and data integration requirements. Manage and administer SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and reliability. Perform database backups, recovery processes, upgrades, patching, capacity planning, and storage management. Implement data quality, governance, validation, cleansing, and transformation best practices across the data environment. Optimise SQL queries, stored procedures, database structures, and data pipelines to improve performance and scalability. Collaborate with data analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver reporting and analytics solutions within Agile\/Scrum environments. Job Experience and Skills Required: Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer or equivalent. Experience: 7+ years of ETL development experience using tools such as Qlik, Airbyte, Talend, SSIS, DataStage, or similar technologies. 4+ years of Database Administration experience within SQL Server environments. Proven experience designing and supporting enterprise data warehousing and integration solutions. Experience working within Agile\/Scrum delivery environments. Exposure to ETL platform migration projects and modern data architecture initiatives. Skills: Advanced SQL development including complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning. Strong understanding of data warehousing principles and dimensional modelling. Experience with Git and CI\/CD practices for data pipelines. Database security, permissions management, auditing, backup, and recovery expertise. Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to adapt to change, take initiative, and consistently deliver high-quality results. Apply now!
