SUMMARY:
Our client is a leading South African-based resources group with a strong focus on coal and renewable energy. They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer - Mechanical to provide expert technical support across various engineering disciplines within our projects.
This role is crucial for contributing effectively to the development and growth of our business operations.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Provide expert technical support in mechanical engineering across all project phases. Contribute to the successful delivery of projects from design through to installation and commissioning. Conduct maintenance, hazard identification, and risk assessment activities. Oversee procurement processes and ensure quality standards are met. Manage project engineering, design, erection, and installation. Lead contract and project management activities in heavy industry settings. Key Criteria: BEng Mechanical Engineering (Essential\/Minimum) Management Development Programme (Recommended\/Desirable) Government Certificate of Competence: Engineering (Recommended\/Desirable) 6-8 years of relevant experience in: Maintenance Hazard identification and risk assessment Procurement Project engineering and design Erection and installation Contract and project management in heavy industry If you are a dynamic and experienced Mechanical Engineer ready to take on challenging projects and contribute to our company's success, we invite you to apply!
