Senior Estimator

SUMMARY:
Senior Estimator wanted! Durban KwaZulu-Natal ***500k to 900k*** Our leading client in the Construction Industry is looking to hire a Senior Estimator. The successful incumbent will be responsible for leading multiple tender pricing submissions through the effective management of the estimating function.

POSITION INFO:

The Ideal Candidate

• Must understand BEE and Local CPG requirements and ensure tender are compliant.
• Must have experience liaising with existing and potential clients
• Must have a Minimum of 8 - 10 years’ experience in an Estimating role
• Must be knowledgeable in CCS candy estimating software

Duties include

• Prepares engineering analysis of projects.
• Prepares estimates for management purposes of planning, organising, scheduling

and managing work.

• Consults with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments to discuss and
• formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Provide cost effective tender pricing.
• Analyse drawings and any special requirements for the tender.
• Sources quality and cost-effective materials and resources.
• Develops high quality and competitive tender submissions on time and accurately.

Qualifications

Must have a related Construction degree/diploma
