POSITION INFO:
A forward-thinking group in the services industry is seeking a Senior Financial Manager to head up their client-facing finance division. The successful candidate will oversee accounting, financial management, and back-office operations for a range of entrepreneurial and impact-driven businesses. This role offers the chance to work closely with business leaders, strengthen financial structures, and contribute to sustainable business growth.

Duties:

Lead and manage all accounting and financial reporting functions across a portfolio of entities.
Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts, annual financial statements, and cash flow forecasts.
Drive budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
Implement and maintain strong financial controls and operational processes.
Act as the primary financial contact for clients, offering FD-level support and strategic financial insights.
Manage and mentor a team of Accountants to ensure high-quality delivery.
Contribute to the growth of the finance division and its client base.
Ensure full compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and governance frameworks.
Liaise with Auditors, tax practitioners, and other external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

CA(SA) accreditation is essential.
Minimum of 5+ years post-articles experience is essential.
Strong technical accounting knowledge, analytical ability, and financial reporting expertise.
Advanced MS Office skills (particularly Excel).
