A well-established organisation is looking for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join its finance team. This role offers the opportunity to take on a broad financial portfolio, contributing to both day-to-day operations and higher-level financial oversight within a structured and deadline-driven environment.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting to support business performance
Manage the full accounting function, including reconciliations and transaction processing
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and audit standards
Coordinate budgeting processes and monitor financial performance against plans
Supervise payroll, payables, receivables, and payment cycles while maintaining strong controls

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Matric with a relevant qualification in Finance or Accounting (B.Com or equivalent preferred)
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
Strong proficiency in MS Office (advanced Excel essential)
Experience with accounting systems (Pastel Evolution advantageous)
Good understanding of financial systems and processes
Strong communication skills in English and Afrikaans (written and verbal)
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and collaborate within a team
High level of integrity, reliability, and attention to detail
