SUMMARY:
If you’ve completed your articles and have 3–5 years’ experience, this is your opportunity to join a dynamic mining environment where finance plays a critical role in production, cost control, and strategic decision-making.

POSITION INFO:
Join a well-established organisation in the mining sector in Gauteng, where you’ll gain exposure to complex operations, high-value assets, and a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports
Oversee the general ledger, journals, and reconciliations
Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
Lead month-end and year-end close processes
Assist with cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal financial controls
Liaise with auditors and support internal and external audit processes
Provide financial insights to support operational and production decisions

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education:

BCom Accounting
Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles (essential)

Experience:

3–5 years’ experience in a Financial Accountant role
Exposure to the mining, engineering, or heavy industry sector advantageous
