SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:

Month-end equity accounting of investments and prepare upload files

Month-end prepared in SAP and data loaded into HFM for Corporate cost centers

Month-end: Prepare management accounts

Half year and Interim reporting: Preparation of reconciliation items to comply with Group IFRS reporting

Manage Intergroup loans and balance sheet reconciliations

Budget and forecast: Preparation of load files for investment and Corporate cost centers in SAP and loading of budget and forecast data on HFM, including disclosures and cash flows

Manage funding requirements of investments with the Group Treasury function

Assist with preparation of company tax return schedules & related queries

Preparation of financial statements

Ad hoc reporting

Interaction with auditors

Skills & Experience:

Must be a qualified CA(SA), preferably with big 4 experience

Minimum 5-8 years post article experience in a technical and strategic role

Must have in depth knowledge about accounting for equity/joint venture investments

Having served on board Financial Committees would be an advantage

Qualification:

CA(SA) - Non-negotiable
