JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a seasoned financial accountant to join our client, a statutory regulator.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This role whilst senior is a stand-alone, hands-on position.

Your responsibilities will include:

Complex allocations on bank statements
Complex recons
All statutory reporting - SARS and VAT
Financial accounting, trial balance and P and L reporting
Payroll
Reporting financials to council members

The requirements for the role are:

BCom, BCom honours preferable
8 years plus in a financial accounting or financial manager role
Experience with large volume small value recons and allocations
Experience using Sage One and Evolution

The ideal candidate will be an individual who enjoys working in a small highly regulated environment in a hands-on financial role.
