Senior Financial Accountant CA(SA) or CIMA - Perm - R 45 OOO PM
Somerset West

A fruit group with fourteen business units across the world,
this dynamic company is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their team.

The purpose of this role is to ensure effective financial and management accounting across two companies within the two varietal entities.

Financial Control (IFRS)

Management of Team members

Candidate requirements:

1. Formal qualification:

Bachelor’s in accounting/Management Accounting (Honour’s degree desirable)
Honours in Accounting/Management Accounting (Honour’s degree desirable)
Driver’s license

2. Job-related experience:

Commercial experience (post-articles) (2 years) (Desirable)
Group Reporting 2 years (Desirable)
ERP system experience (3-4 years)
Inventory experience (3-4 years)

3. Job-related knowledge:

IFRS (3-4 years)
INCO terms (1-2 years) (Desirable)

4. Job-related skills:

Planning (3-4 years)
Excellent communication skills (3-4 years)
Computer literacy (MS Office) (3-4 years)
Strong problem-solving skills (3-4 years)
Strong negotiation skills (3-4 years)
Analytical skills (3-4 years)
