Performance

• Responsible for Target Operating Model
• Compliant in Accounting
• Tax and Treasury within Financial Services.
• Ensure resourcing levels are appropriate to service the customer demands and develop an organisation based on high performing competent and capable team members
• KPI performance Measures within the Organisation
• •Handling R2R, P2P, O2C
• Tax & Stats, and Treasury: Manage all service lines according to TOM RACI
• Review, analyse & interpret the monthly results as they affect the financial position of the company.
• Oversee and direct the preparation and issuance of the corporation’s annual report.
• Coordinates with independent accounting firms on annual audits and tax matters.
• The role-holder will be able to effectively influence customer groups and ensure financial issues are readily resolved and managed by an ability to influence the matrix organisation.
• The role-holder will be accountable for the quality of deliverables and for ensuring that excellence in service delivery is maintained as the External and internal environments evolve.
• This role is the leader of the newly designed shared serviced function for SA and will report into the GFS lead.
• The shared services function reports into a global finance structure for multiple markets.

Qualifications

Qualified CA with minimum 10 years related experience

• Strong understanding of the Global GFS organisation and principles
• Understanding of the Global Finance Target Operating Model
• Good understanding of controls and compliance requirements.
• Strong Project Management capability
• Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

• Ability to communicate effectively across the organisation.

• Ability to deliver change management programs
• Ability to influence Senior Management leadership team

Experience

• Minimum 2 yrs. (P2P) treasury receivables mgt, financial & statutory reporting and Tax experience
• Responsible for manager a small sized team
• SAP knowledge
• Proximity to GSK office
