JOB SUMMARY:
Financial Manager CA (SA) Financial accountant Chartered accountant

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Great opportunity within a Multinational company ( Financial and IT Industry )

Our client is looking for a qualified CA to join their team which has ACCpac (Sage 300) accounting experience and to peform the financial accounting function .

Qualifications:

Qualified CA(SA)

Experience Required:

Minimum 3-years’ experience in an accounting position
IFRS knowledge
Experience at preparing monthly reporting packages on Excel
Sage 300 (Formerly known as ACCPAC )experience
Knowledge of accounting controls and procedures
Knowledge of relevant taxes
Knowledge/use of EFT systems

Essential

Be fluent in spoken and written English
Have a strong attention to detail and accuracy
Have strong planning, organizing and time management skills
Be able to work independently as well as be a team player
Be able to multi-task effectively
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Be self-motivated, by taking an interest in the job, and obtaining satisfaction from the achievement of job well done

Responsibilities :

Assistance in monthly reporting
Strengthening processes and automation of processes
Reviewing of monthly packs in the group
Consolidation done monthly
Reviewing of Balance Sheet Reconciliations
BEE (Completion of procurement detail for all BEE companies)
Audit requests – Internal & External (Assist auditors)
Reviewing of journals for all companies
Authorising and releasing of bank payments
Vat, Paye on E-filing
Tax returns and SARS queries
Compliance with statutory regulations
Ad hoc projects
