JOB DESCRIPTION:

Centurion

A Senior HR Practitioner (Generalist) needed to provide support to the Head of HR by operationalizing the HR strategy, ensuring delivery, implementation and timeous execution of HR initiatives.

Support Head of HR with the implementation of HR projects and initiatives.
Support managers with implementation of HR procedures including performance and probation management, grievances & disciplinary procedures.
Contribute to the development of people processes, systems and procedures as undertaken by the HR team.
Contribute towards formulation and implementation of recruitment and retention strategies.
Initiating action, taking prompt action to accomplish goals and objectives and proactive in proposing action plans and improvements.
Provide training on HR systems and procedures to managers and staff as required.
Co-ordination of Learning and Development initiatives with accurate record keeping and reporting.
Compile annual EE and Skills Development reports.
Contribute to BEE by assisting with strategy implementation and keeping accurate records of required information for audit purposes.
Co-ordinate OHS requirements and ensure compliance.
Lead and mentor junior members of the team.
- National Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management
- At least 5 years’ experience as an HR Generalist in a medium sized company.
- Knowledge of the employee lifecycle and management processes required.
- Job profiling / job grading and salary benchmarking.
- A thorough understanding of labour legislation (BCEA, LRA)
- IR experience needed
