SUMMARY:
Senior Healthcare Advisor

POSITION INFO:

 

The purpose of this role is to:
  • Source new leads and secure new business , potentially from both internal group customers and external prospects or non-group customers as well as deliver the full client value proposition to all clients. 
  • Ensure the implementation of a defined strategy. 
  • Create and maintain a stable and disciplined operating environment that supports the company
 
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • An undergraduate qualification in Finance or insurance is essential, i.e. BCom (majors in Financial Management or Financial Planning or Investments)
  • A proven sales track record within hunter and closer famework.
  • Experience selling at the "C" level
  • 5 years’ plus experience
  • FAIS Accredited or relevant body registered

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
  • Ability to engage with clients and provide guidance on the product line of Business: Investments; Health or Retirements.
  • Excellent understanding of line of Business: Investments; Health or Retirements.
  • Strong knowledge of Pension funds, FAIS and related legislation
  • Strong knowledge of Employee Benefit Industry
 
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
 
  • Generate and build pipelines for the group specific product lines particular to the role.
  • Generate income by closing new business opportunities with the suitable or specific product set 
  • Delivery of proposals - written and presented to clients with the assistance of theEnablement team
  • Understanding and applying relevant legal requirements specifically from the various binder agreements & ensuring compliance
  • Keep abreast of new legislation, both in South Africa and neighbouring countries
  • Interact and maintain good relations with insurance partners
  • Comply with company policies and procedures of the business
  • Provide documentation that is clear, unambiguous and in line with TCF
  • Timeously respond to client requests from digital targeting campaigns. 24-48 Hour turnaround
  • Process and deliver quality monthly report on issued quotes and proposals to business
  • Completing application and on boarding of new clients
  • Strategically engage with internal consultants in handover of new funds
  • Processing of application forms.
  • Meet and exceed all quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Generate and drive revenue growth within the business
  • Develop long-term relationships with customers as well as the develop account plans for new relationships
  • Responsible for navigating through an enterprise organization to leverage cross selling opportunities
  • Develop strategic sales plan in collaboration with other sales teams
  • Accurately forecast quarterly and monthly sales
  • Develop and manage pipeline activity and monitor sales activity against assigned quotas
  • Client book growth focused.
  • Enhancement and refinement of value propositions
  • Build and maintain a stable operating environment and ensure manual processes are eliminated.
  • Demonstrate market-leading sales solutions.
  • Effective teamwork and collaboration between all functional teams.
  • Functional portfolio performance meets client''s objectives and is peer competitive.
  • Support sales strategies through seeking opportunities within the current client base.
