A high-growth, premium B2B solutions business is looking for an experienced Head of Sales to lead, coach and develop an established sales team while driving the next phase of revenue growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a proven sales leader who has successfully transitioned from individual sales into team leadership and can demonstrate a track record of making other salespeople more successful . The Opportunity Our client is a leading premium solutions business operating across Southern Africa and international markets, with a strong and growing presence across sectors including hospitality, healthcare, corporate, residential and performance environments. The business is growing rapidly and is looking for a hands-on, commercially driven sales leader to take ownership of the day-to-day sales team and help accelerate growth. This is not a traditional Sales Director position . It is a senior player-coach role for someone who enjoys being close to the action, working alongside experienced salespeople, supporting major opportunities and developing the next generation of sales talent. Key Responsibilities Lead and coach an experienced sales team, improving both individual and overall team performance. Spend time in the field with salespeople and customers. Join important customer meetings and assist in progressing complex sales opportunities. Identify and remove barriers preventing deals from closing. Drive revenue and gross profit growth through the sales team. Establish strong sales cadence, pipeline management, forecasting and CRM discipline. Set and monitor meaningful KPIs and performance measures. Develop existing high-performing salespeople while recruiting and developing additional sales talent. Identify new markets, customer segments and business development opportunities. Support consultative and solution-led selling across complex B2B opportunities. Provide commercial leadership on high-value opportunities and strategic accounts. Work closely with executive leadership on sales performance, pipeline and growth opportunities. Build a high-performance sales culture based on accountability, trust and collaboration. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who has successfully progressed through a career path such as: Successful Salesperson → Sales Leader → Developer of Successful Salespeople You should have: Proven experience leading a sales team. A strong track record in B2B sales. Demonstrable experience coaching and developing salespeople. Experience managing complex, consultative sales cycles. Exposure to high-value deals and senior customer stakeholders. Strong commercial judgement and business acumen. Experience with pipeline management, forecasting, KPIs and CRM. The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution. A genuine passion for developing people and growing revenue through a team. Strong emotional intelligence and relationship-building skills. Experience in technology\/SaaS, healthcare, medical solutions, capital equipment, hospitality solutions, wellness, fitness or sophisticated B2B services would be advantageous.
