SUMMARY:
Our client in JHB-North is looking for a Senior IT Architecture Specialist with extensive cloud experience and must be Azure certified. Must have experience in creating a strategy to establish a secure and well-managed enterprise environment in Azure, and configure and manage virtual networks in Azure.

POSITION INFO:

Required Experience and Qualification:

Grade 12 and relevant IT qualification
Non-negotiable:
- Azure Certified Administrator
- Azure Certified Architect
- MCSE and Microsoft Exchange certified
- Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange
- Server Architecture and Design
- Virtualisation Concepts (Hyper-V / VMware)
- Solutions design.
- Microsoft cloud computing
- Technical experience in infrastructure design including private and public cloud, networking, virtualization, identity, security and storage.
- Windows Server Operating Systems.
- O365 Administrator
- Citrix Virtual Apps
- Linux Operating Systems
- Microsoft Applications and Architecture (SCCM, WSUS).
- IBM Systems and server architecture.
- ITIL v.3 or 4 competence
- COBIT

Overall responsibilities:

He/She will be accountable for the architectural design, implementation, maintenance and operational activities for the following technologies and supporting systems and solutions: Microsoft based technologies, Security based solutions and technologies, Monitoring based solutions, Communications and messaging technologies, Microsoft Azure Cloud Infrastructure, Virtualisation technologies, Mobile solutions and hardware and storage based technology.
