SUMMARY:
Our client in JHB-North is looking for a Senior IT Architecture Specialist with extensive cloud experience and must be Azure certified. Must have experience in creating a strategy to establish a secure and well-managed enterprise environment in Azure, and configure and manage virtual networks in Azure.

POSITION INFO:

Required Experience and Qualification:

  • Grade 12 and relevant IT qualification
  •  Non-negotiable:
    • Azure Certified Administrator  
    • Azure Certified Architect  
    • MCSE and Microsoft Exchange certified
    • Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange
    • Server Architecture and Design
    • Virtualisation Concepts (Hyper-V / VMware)
    • Solutions design.
    • Microsoft cloud computing
    • Technical experience in infrastructure design including private and public cloud, networking, virtualization, identity, security and storage.
    • Windows Server Operating Systems.
    • O365 Administrator
    • Citrix Virtual Apps
    • Linux Operating Systems
    • Microsoft Applications and Architecture (SCCM, WSUS).
    • IBM Systems and server architecture.
    • ITIL v.3 or 4 competence
    • COBIT
Overall responsibilities:
  • He/She will be accountable for the architectural design, implementation, maintenance and operational activities for the following technologies and supporting systems and solutions: Microsoft based technologies, Security based solutions and technologies, Monitoring based solutions, Communications and messaging technologies, Microsoft Azure Cloud Infrastructure, Virtualisation technologies, Mobile solutions and hardware and storage based technology.
