Senior IT Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a candidate who has gained experience working within a multi-national organisation.

POSITION INFO:

You will be responsible to partner with business and leadership to manage and direct all IT resources to achieve the company strategic objectives. Experience in business process analysis, defining implementing user requirements and IT projects is essential.

Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Related Degree or Equivalent /Comparable qualification (Master’s Degree Advantageous)
• Minimum 7 years’ in a similar position
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in managing teams
• Imports/FMCG/Manufacturing or Automotive sector experience is non-negotiable
• Experience in business process analysis, defining implementing user requirements and IT projects
• SAP Experience essential
• ERP implementation project experience essential i.e. SAP, S/4Hana experience is a bonus.
• Must currently fulfil an equivocal position in which you lead people
• Broad interest in and knowledge of IT
• Strong in strategic topics, have the ability and experience to add value to vision and strategy
• Good facilitator in getting commitment and buy-in

Key Role Responsibilities

• Align IT Strategy and Budget in coordination and alignment with Business
• Support strategic and innovative thinking in the business through clear articulation of IT capabilities
• Ensure coherence in the strategic development of IT in line with agreed Enterprise Architecture
• Portfolio and lifecycle management of local applications
• Ensure all IT demand is assessed; aligned with business strategy and architecture
• Help to identify IT demand conflicts, recommending escalation where appropriate for resolution
• Develop high-quality business requirements to ensure proper estimation of cost, time and resources
• Perform project scoping assessments to determine the feasibility of initiatives
• Develop project estimates & complete financial model
• Partner with IT supply to get to high-level solution architectures for initiatives
• Partner with IT supply on delivery of services and projects, ensure performance at agreed levels
• Ensure knowledge network in Business is properly set up and functioning
• Manage, track and report on IT Budget and realization
• Local vendor, contract and asset management
• Ensure sufficient and coherent IT communication towards the business/ functions
• Ensure that relevant stakeholders are involved in the specification of new services and/or major upgrades to existing services
