JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Senior IT Technical Systems Engineer is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software and related on premises / cloud infrastructure. This individual will participate in technical research and development to
enable continuing innovation within all spectrums of IT infrastructure. This individual will ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software / firmware code upgrades, and related procedures adhere to organizational policies and methodologies.

This individual is accountable for the following Windows Systems including but not limited to: Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, File Services, FTP, SCCM, WSUS, DNS, DHCP, Windows Server Operating.

Requirements:

Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 Qualification
National Diploma or relevant NQF level 6 Qualification highly advantageous
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
Microsoft Exchange Certification
Microsoft Azure Administrator
Office 365 Administrator
Minimum 4 - 6 years in Systems administration role
Minimum 3 -4 years Microsoft Exchange administration
Minimum 1-3years Microsoft Azure administration
Minimum 1-3 years Office 365 administration

Knowledge of the following is essential:

Microsoft Active Directory
Microsoft Exchange
Microsoft Azure
Office 365
Server architecture and support
Virtualisation Concepts (Hyper-V)
Microsoft Applications and Architecture (SCCM, WSUS)
Windows Server Operating Systems
IBM Systems and server architecture
Networking fundamentals
