Join a leading retail trade and shopper marketing agency as their Senior Industrial Designer/Product Designer.

Responsibilities

Lead the Design team and manage the day-to-day running of the Design Studio
Manage the intake of workload for the Design team and ensure all projects deadlines are met timeously
Manage projects scopes, timelines and budgets for projects
Clearly communicate client needs to your team to ensure that output produced meets with agreed briefs
Build trusting and collaborative relationships with account teams assigned to a brand, ensuring all stakeholders are clearly aligned with design output
Building relationships with their Clients, being able to manage expectations and provide them with services that exceed their expectations
Industrial designing and client presentations

Requirements

A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience as a Senior Industrial Designer
Must have a conceptual industrial/product designer qualification
Ability to come up with creative concepts and effectively present to clients in keeping with client briefs
Ability to lead and inspire a Design team
Ability engage with senior stakeholders (external and internal) and manage expectations
Competent at explaining ideas to people with varying levels of technical knowledge
Competent in raster, vector and 3D design tools, including ,but not limited to; Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, (3D Studio Max, V-Ray preferable but not essential) and Office basics
Experience with gaming engines would be fantastic (Unreal, etc)
Excellent communication and presentation skills – verbal and visual
An ability to learn quickly, think fast and deliver solutions
Excited about embracing new procedures and technologies
Highly creative and conceptual capabilities
